Shelby 725bhp Super Snake

700bhp tuned Mustang seems to be a bit slim, here is the new Super Snake from longtime Ford tuners Shelby.

Mustang GT500 being the base model, the Super Snake puts out 725bhp from a super charged version of Ford model 5.4-litre V8, and it appearance appropriately tells to check out the rear quarter window scoops. Where they are drawing air into but, one needs not to worry with that sort of thing, the giant bonnet scoop and carbon fiber splitter.

The Super Snake gets Ford Racing suspension with changeable dampers and stiff springs, and huge 20-inch wheels sustaining sticky Pirelli tyres.

The price tag for the Americans cousins will be around $34,000, plus a donor GT500. Shelby also comes with the offer of a range of modest upgrades for the more humble Mustangs in the variety.

Since way back in 1965 Shelby has been tuning Mustangs, but the Shelby Mustang nameplate faded out in 1970, only to be rejuvenated in 2007.
